Who wants a boring life? Anyone??
Boring is not appealing, unlike the excitement, adventure, cliff-hanging, nail-biting, endless swirl of intriguing storylines that drama delivers by the bucket-load.
Drama is enticing, whipping up a frenzy much like a gust of wind lifts leaves that then rise and dance with a life of their own. What was dull, brown, dead and decaying appears to be filled with a dynamic energy that pulses and writhes, grabbing attention with a persuasive beckoning that is hard to resist.

Drama knocks on the doors of those with lowered energy, whether temporary or more permanent, scooping you up in the excitement it has created, accompanied by an intriguing rush that absolutely must not be missed. Like a train starting to pull out of the station, you must run and catch up, quickly jump up and in through the door someone holds open; never mind the risk or that it is heading in the wrong direction, or that the next train arriving shortly is heading directly to your preferred destination…
… Ah, all that excitement, the contagious energy and imperative need for action; carrying you on a current that will ultimately dump you and leave you short!
Drama is fear-based; rather than life-affirming, it steals, conspires, and is a vehicle of avoidance that deftly sidetracks you from activity that would otherwise optimise your life experience.
Trouble is, true as this is, you most likely won’t have a moment to notice the negative implications before being whisked off for another unexpected twist or extended storyline that you “just can’t miss”, and who can blame you! - After all, your life’s not optimal and continues to be so, so why not indulge in drama’s escapist entertainment…
… and with that, Alice
dropped
further
down
the rabbit-hole
and
out of sight!
No one wants a boring life, but drama is not the life-affirming alternative it might seem. Indeed, if you allow yourself to be a little bored for a moment or more, you’ll come to appreciate the illusion you have unintentionally bought into, and that, my dear friend, is your first step in the right direction.
So, where do you go now?
Over here: toward a life of optimal happiness and wellbeing, turning your back on fear, lack, and insecurity, to instead work on your Self; indulge in enjoyable and rewarding self-development and transformation that are (most definitely) not boring but uplifting and inspiring.
... Transformation is a practice in self-discovery; a deeper understanding of what is leads to increased perspective and insight. The deeper you dive, the more you come to know, and the more liberated your soul. Dive in below for inspiring self-exploration, accompanied by a sprinkling of amusement to uplift your spirit…
